Originally from Bangor, Maine, he spent his youth living in many different places with his mom and stepdad, while his stepdad served in the United States Airforce, until finally making his home in Elizabethtown, where he resided for 49 years.
He was known as “The Captain” because of his love for boating, fishing, or any thing related to water. He was a football and basketball fan and loved the Louisville Cardinals. He was very sociable and had the ability to make friends everywhere he went. He never knew a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Webber Littlefield; and stepdad, Herbert Paul Gfroerer.
Survivors include his mother, Lois Kathleen Gfroerer; one daughter, Kelli Parlante (Greg); two grandchildren, Ethan and Ariana Parlante; and one sister, Debra Kathleen Gfroerer-Stuedli.
