Ronnie was a passionate truck driver for Cowley INC, where he hauled bulk mail for USPS. His love for the open road was matched only by his love for fishing. If there was a fish in any body of water, they weren't safe! When not on the road, Ronnie could be found indulging in his hobbies of tinkering, building furniture, woodworking, making homemade wine, and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Beatrice Riggs; brothers, Fineous Riggs, David Riggs, Cletus Riggs; and his first-born son, Michael W. Riggs.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Benjamin S. Riggs and John S. Riggs; granddaughter, Amber Riggs; and siblings, Larry Riggs, Vernon Riggs, Marilyn Stewart (Steve), Naomi Coogle, and Sharoni Hornback (Larry).
A celebration of Ronnie's life will take place at the Family Farm in Spring 2026.
