Roy Lee Casteel

He was a native of Hardin County and was a heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ann Burd Casteel; his parents, Rodman and Gladys Goodin Casteel; two sons, Randy Casteel and Robert Dale Casteel; his sisters, Margaret Twigger, Mary Martin and Debbie Lamb and a grandson, Alieja Blue McMillen.

He is survived by two sons, Johnnie Casteel and Bobby Joe (Alesha) Casteel; two daughters, Gail (Gary Padgett) Benningfield and Janet Casteel; one brother, Junior Casteel of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Ann Slinker of Elizabethtown, Judy Vaughn of West Virginia and Betty Crabtree of Alabama; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
