Russell Dale Helm

He was a native of Hardin County, a self-employed drywaller, and was a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Hazel Helm; brother, Michael Dean Helm; and nephew, Phillip Darrell Helm, Jr.

He is survived by his fiancé, Susie Jecker of Radcliff; daughter, Melissa (Terry Redford) Helm of Radcliff; father, Darnell Helm of Elizabethtown; step daughter, Cheryl (Travis) Thurman of Glendale; two brothers, Phillip Helm and Billy (Tammy) Helm all of Elizabethtown; five sisters, Jeanette (Dennis) Pellman, Jeanene (Bruce) Hart, Joann (Billy) Juett all of Elizabethtown, Janice (Walter) Brawner, and Jeanell (Wayne) White all of Glendale; one granddaughter, Emmi Redford; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Valley Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Kerr and Rev. Shaun Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and continues after 9 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home.
