Sadie Elizabeth Daniels

She was born on February 12, 1927 in Elizabethtown to the late Henry Leo and Annie Davenport Edlin.

Sadie was a devoted wife and mother and a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons, Alan Dale and Roderick; three brothers, Wardlea, Wendall, and Leslie Edlin; and four sisters, Goldia Parrett, Gladys Perkins, Geneva Pellman, and Freda Duggins.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Wallace Newton Daniels of Elizabethtown; one son, Craig Daniels (Anthony Basham) of Lexington; one sister, Dorothy Pellman of Elizabethtown; and two sisters-in-law, Becky Edlin of Elizabethtown and Pat Daniels Parsons of North Carolina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Immanuel Baptist Church.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Darland officiating.

Burial follows in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
