She was born on August 18th 1963 at Hardin Memorial Hospital to parents George & Ann Higdon and lived on the family’s farm in Glendale.
Sandy was known for her creativity, her strength of spirit, her work ethic, her care for others, her resilience, and for her beauty. She loved spending sunny days working in her gardens, doing crafts, watching Hallmark movies, socializing with the Gals Time Out group, and decorating any space she could get her hands on. Almost always the family dog Emelia was frolicking by her side or curled up in her lap. Everything Sandy touched was made more beautiful, more colorful, and made to feel more like home.
She was proceeded in death by her father George Higdon, her paternal grandparents Mary-Ruby & Alfie Higdon, and her maternal grandparents Roy & Elsie Bradley.
She is survived by her only son Dylan Goodin, her mother Ann Higdon, her sister Sharon Higdon, her brother and sister in law Jim & Honey Higdon, and her nieces and nephews.
