Born on May 6, 1990, in Elizabethtown, Tyler spent his life in the community he called home. He was a man of quiet strength, gentle in spirit and generous in heart. Though soft spoken, he had a wonderful sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him, and he was known above all for his willingness to help anyone in need. Whatever the task, Tyler could be counted on to lend a hand.
More than any other role, Tyler cherished being a father. His greatest joy was found on the sidelines of soccer fields and football games, cheering for his daughter and sharing in her victories and her growth. He carried that same enthusiasm into his love of sports, following his beloved Green Bay Packers with unwavering devotion through every season.
Tyler also found peace in the outdoors. He loved to fish, to search the countryside for arrowheads, and to seek out adventure wherever it could be found, including the thrill of skydiving. These pursuits reflected his quiet appreciation for the world around him and his willingness to embrace life fully.
A member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, Tyler carried his faith gently, living out his beliefs through kindness, service, and love for others.
Tyler is survived by his daughter, Kenleigh Paige MacArther; his brother, Timothy Dale Bowman; his sister, Rebecca Lynn Bowman; his mother, Lisa Lynne Bowman; and his father, Hughie Stephen Bowman; his girlfriend, Sara Skeeters and her two sons, Nathan and August. Each of them were blessed by his presence and will carry forward the memory of his warmth and his laughter.
Those who knew Tyler will remember a man who gave freely of himself, who found happiness in simple pleasures, and who loved his family with his whole heart. His gentle nature and quiet generosity touched all who crossed his path.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Tyler's life.
