Stephen Christopher Montgomery

He was born on October 26, 1948 in Ducktown, Tennessee to the late Nora and John Henry Montgomery.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a great carpenter. Stephen was always reliable, generous, and loving.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building homes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carla Montgomery; and two brothers, Kenneth and Kermit Montgomery.

Survivors include one son, John Montgomery; one daughter, Debbie Childress; one sister, Diane Franklin; and four nephews, Johnny, Brian, and Sam Montgomery, and Boyd Franklin.

Services will be held at a later date.
