Thomas attended Central Hardin High School.
A hardworking man who took pride in his work, Thomas built his career as a union plumber pipefitter—steady in his commitment, dependable in his craft, and respected for the honest work of his hands.
Thomas found deep joy in the simple, lasting pleasures of life: fishing, time with friends and family, boating and time on the lake, and being outdoors. He loved dogs and horses, motorcycles, and loved hiking around and exploring with his wife. He will be remembered by those who knew him for his sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Thomas’s life was rooted in the people he loved. He is survived by his wife, Kris-Tina Ellis; two sons; one daughter; four grandchildren; his parents, Donna (Butch) Harbolt and Thomas Austin (Alice) Ellis; a brother; and two stepbrothers.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandparent, son, and friend.
A visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home Tuesday, June 2nd from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
