She was a native of Hardin County.
Tula was preceded in death by her parents, Les and Bertha Horn and 7 brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include four children, Ova L. Newton, Jr. of Ark., Shirley Haynes of Elizabethtown, David Smith and Wavel (Michael) Grass all of Vine Grove; three brothers; three sisters; seven grandchildren, Amanda Newton, Darren Haynes, Jessica Hankinson, Lori Fields, Sara Durham, Angel Ash and Victoria Smith and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
There will be no funeral service.
Burial will be in Howevalley Cemetery at a later date.
