

Born on October 22, 1929, in Hardin County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl McKinley Duff.
Virginia was a dedicated and hardworking woman who served in Executive Housekeeping at Hardin Memorial Hospital for 10 years. She was also a respected member of the Eastern Star.
A faithful member of Valley Creek Baptist Church for many years, Virginia’s life reflected steady devotion and quiet strength. Part Cherokee Indian, she participated in Pow-Pows, honoring and maintaining a meaningful connection to her heritage.
Virginia found joy in collecting antique dolls and repairing them, a pastime that reflected her patient, careful nature. She also loved flowers and, above all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Hart; and siblings, Jimmy Duff, Norma Smith, and Rozella Williams.
Survivors include her children, Tom Hart, Charles (Patsy) Hart, Dennis (Donna) Hart, and Darlene (Roby) Evans; one step-daughter, Linda (Clarence) Brangers; one sister, Linda (Ronnie) Calvert; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 AM on Tuesday and continues until the time of service at the funeral home.
