She was a native of Hardin County, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a nutrition science degree, and was an insurance agent at Curneal and Hignite.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Hines, and their son, Hudson Hines; and parents, Gerry and Susie Hignite of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Severns Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Langley and Dr. Ray Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
