

She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church where she started the children's church and daycare and was the church secretary. She was also the church secretary at Immanuel Baptist Church for 10 years and worked at Fort Knox Civil Service. She loved children, sewing, cooking, canning, movies, going to the beach and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Maney, parents, Elmer and Ava Moore George Clater, two brothers, Edward Clater and Charles Clater and a sister, Mary Alice Richardson.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Daugherty, Jr.; three children, Kevin (Maggie) Daugherty, Lee Ann Daugherty and Amanda Bennett (Paul); two grandsons, Kyle (Lyndsey) Daugherty and Dr. Sean Daugherty and two great-grandsons, Jackson and Oliver Daugherty.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Britten McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
