Daniel Charles Kuhn

Daniel Charles Kuhn, born June 4, 1987, died on April 19, 2012 in a rafting accident on the Chehalis River in Washington State where he was currently stationed with the National Guard. Daniel joined the National Guard in April 2007, serving in Iraq from 2008-09. Daniel is survived by his mom and dad, Deborah and Paul Rudisel of Elk Rapids and Brian Kuhn of Detroit. His siblings Michelle Blodick, Alec, Kyle, Paul Michael, Travis, CJ and Joshua Rudisel of Elk Rapids, also survive. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Elk Rapids. The funeral will be held at Prince of Peace Church, 1776 High Lake Rd., Traverse City, Michigan on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. followed by a full military burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elk Rapids.
