Janet Weber

Janet graduated from Elk Rapids high school in 1952 and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. She married William H.K. Weber on October 4, 1952 who preceded her in death in 1997. After many years of dedicated work, Janet retired from the Universitiy of Michigan as a secretary. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling.

Janet is survived by her children Kurt F. Weber, and Anne Marie Weber, grandchildren Christian Morrison Coccitti and Cameran Duncan Coccitti, sister Helen Jean “Jeanie” (Gerald) Gaus, several special nieces, extended family, friends, and constant companion Chessie. She was preceded in death by her father Glenn, who founded the Morrison Lumber Company, and mother Beulah who was a past president of the Elk Rapids Garden Club, husband William, and sister Virginia “Gina” Howe.
