Linda Marie Rennie

Linda was born August 6, 1942 and passed away February 12, 2013 after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Linda attended school in Elk Rapids before moving to Lansing where she graduated from Sexton High School. After graduation she worked for Oldsmobile for over 10 years. She married William “Sandy” Rennie on September 11, 1971 and was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend.

Linda enjoyed photography, loved to travel, and had a great passion for dancing. But most of all, she loved her family.

Her parents Oswald and Dorothy Arntson precede Linda in death. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Sandy; children: Amy (Jeremy) Wood, Matthew (Amanda) Rennie, Johnathan and Matthew II; grandchildren: Adriana, Kieran, Austin, Haley; sisters: Deanna Arntson and Christine (Thomas) Fulger ; sister-in-law Roleen (Marvin) Carpenter and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday, February 15th, at Covell Funeral Home, Elk Rapids Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, February 16th at 10:00am at Kewadin United Methodist Church.
