Andrèle, you had a loving, kind, helpful heart. You loved people. Humanity has lost a very good soul. May Jesus Christ in His ultimate love and mercy  receive you in His arms. I send my condolences to  all the children, brothers  family and all who have had the privilege to know that kind and  helpful lady.

Cousin Andrele (Nanotte) was one of the most caring persons in the world! My late mom Mme Marceau, my sisters and brothers always attested to that. May we try to continue her legacy! Brothers Marc-Elie, Fito, and all her children, please take heart -  for your beloved Andrele is now in peace, and probably in the arms of Jesus. Indeed, she's done well on earth, must we admit! You flew effortlessly to glory, eternal delights where finally with joy and without blushing, you contemplate the divine splendor of your Creator.
Oh! How you knew how to touch by your delicate nature, your nobility of soul the heart of all those who had the happiness to approach you!
With full hand, on your earthly journey, you sowed love, inspired the joy of living, brought assistance to the disadvantaged.
A rare pearl flew away, she was introduced into the light joining the cohort of the blessed. Face to face with her Creator, in the company of her departed loved ones, she forever enjoys the eternal bliss that was reserved for her.

For the time I have  known Andrèle I realized that she was not only a loving, spiritual and social person but also she was elegant, stylish and she always had a friendly demeanor. Let us rejoice for the time she had lived among us and now that she has fallen as sleep in the Lord, she will rise again in the Lord. According to 2 Thessalonians 4:18 therefore encourage one another with these words.

My deepest sympathy to Andrele's family, friends and everyone affected by her passing.  Andrele has had a very special place in our hearts since my late husband, Frantz Morisset, met her at the U.S Embassy in Port-au-Prince over 50 years ago. I remember well when he called to tell me that he had met a very kind, generous girl who would be helping him with his appointment. Even though I couldn't see him, I knew he had a big smile on his face when he added "you look just like her". We had not had the opportunity to meet since then but, I can imagine the reunion in heaven with the other saints in glory praising God. May the grace and the peace of God be with us as we celebrate Andrele's life and 'homegoing'.

Saddened by the departure of my beloved  cousin, friend and  Guardian Angel Andrele, I would like  to send  my condolences to the entire family. My guardian  angel, she was  just  that.  If I am  here  today,  after God,  it's  thanks to Andrele's quick  reaction. Indeed,  while  she  was working  at the  US Embassy  in Port-au-Prince  she came across of that letter that  could  prevent  me  from  ever set foot  in this  country. God used Andrele to destroy that letter and open the door for me. Everytime Andrele and I talk about  that, I always  remind her that  she is my guardian angel and she cries, tears of joy knowing  that  she helped a family  member  or somebody  for that  matter. 
Andrele  is gone but she will  always be loved and greatly  missed. 
Weep not for she is resting In the bosom  of Jesus-Christ.

I have known Andrèle Mathurin since 1979 at the First Haitian Church of Washington, DC. She was a loving, spiritual and social person. Consequently, she was always participated in the different activities of the Church and made yerself available to render  service when needed.
I am sure she will be greatly missed by those who have met her.  On behalf of  the Casimir family and the Surprin family I am extending my sinceres Condolences to her children, grandchildren, relatives and those who are affected by this separation until the glorious eternity.





We want to express our heartfelt condolences to Andrèle’s  family.   There are no words to describe what Andrèle represented for us.   Her kindness and generosity had a profound and lasting impact on our life.   She will forever be a part of us.   We are comforted with the assurance that she is now with Jesus.

I pray that all of  Andrele's family and friends are comforted by the knowledge  that Andrele is now in the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
