Andy Wilkerson

On November 11, 2014 Andrew “Andy” Lee Wilkerson of Columbia, Maryland died from complications of Von Hippel-Lindau disease at the age of 48. Mr. Wilkerson was the beloved son of the late Alvin and Lois Wilkerson; devoted father of Rachel, Brendan and Aidan Wilkerson; dear brother of Don Wilkerson and his wife Irene of Greenbackville, VA, Fredrick Wilkerson of New Windsor, MD, Tony Wilkerson of Linthicum, MD and the late Candice Dunaway; ex-husband of Jeannie Finan; son-in-law of Michael and Rachel Finan; brother-in-law of Wayne Dunaway, Michael, David, Stephen and Dr. Jon Finan and Teresa Allender; uncle of Brian and Patrick Wilkerson and Mark Dunaway and his wife Tracy; also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Andy was a recreational marathoner and triathlete competing in many Bud Light Triathlon Series events, coached youth soccer, basketball and lacrosse in Howard County MD.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00-6:00 pm and Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 pm where a Life Celebration Service will be held in the Kaufman Vermillion Chapel on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 3:00pm. Inurnment private. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made in Andy's honor to VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) Alliance, 2001 Beacon Street, Suite 208, Boston, MA 02135.
