

Anna Mae “Grams” Becker, aged 91, passed away on February 9, 2026. Born on June 25, 1934, Anna Mae was a resident of Ellicott City, Maryland.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Joshua Becker and a devoted mother to Kathleen A. Kuhlman; Carol Bowie and her husband Bob; and Nancy Becker and her Husband, Joe Greaney. She was the cherished sister of Robert J. Ferree and his wife Patricia, Sister-in-law of Catherine Ferree. She was a proud grandmother to Tara Boomer and her husband Greg, Kevin Kuhlman and his wife Prabh Benipal, Jonathan Bowie, Michael Bowie and his wife Carolyn, Bridget Greaney and her husband Will Kunin, and Joey Greaney. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Brett and Chase Boomer, Camden, Dillon, Joshua, and Charlotte Bowie; Also survived by her beloved furry companion, her golden doodle, Cody.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Andrew Ferree and Anna Maria Oliver; siblings, Josephine Kain and her husband, Shirley “Bill”, and Albert E. “Sonny” Ferree.
Anna had a vibrant love for life and many interests that brought her joy. She enjoyed visiting casinos and playing slot machines and was known as a lucky horseshoe, often winning. She loved to read, especially murder mysteries and romance novels by Nicholas Sparks. Travel was a true passion of hers, with favorite destinations including Italy, Europe, Greece, Germany, St. Martin, the Bahamas, and Las Vegas. She collected Disney figurines and carnival glass. An avid shopper, she loved every store she entered and also enjoyed fine dining at restaurants. She had a fond appreciation for theater and shows, including Jersey Boys and “O” by Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. She loved music, particularly performances by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and played the organ. She was known for her love of shimmery and sparkling clothing, which perfectly reflected her personality.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
