Anna Teresa Owens, age 86, of Woodstock, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023; Anna was born on August 11, 1936, to parents, Jan and Anna Majka; Devoted mother of Craig Owens and April Owens; Dear sister of and survived by John and Frances, predeceased by Mary, Anthony, Helen, Frank, Jessie, and Genevieve; Loving grandmother to Jason and Tyler Owens.
Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her two grandsons. She had an unwavering love for all people and animals, and always included those she cared for in her nightly prayers. She enjoyed scrapbooking, Girl's Night Out with friends, card games, and shopping. She also had a particular love for Wheel of Fortune, Steve Harvey and his fashion sense, and Hallmark movies.
A Funeral Service for Anna will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed via Facebook under Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
Following the Funeral Service, receiving of family and friends for a Memorial Gathering at 12:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.
