Barbara Anne Larue

Barbara Anne Larue, born May 4, 1935, in Maryland to the late Donald E. Boyd and Elizabeth "Betsy" Boyd (née Johnston), passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 91.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandy, Cindy, and Junior; her stepchildren, Donna, Jim, and Joe; her grandchildren, Billy, Crystal, Heather, Cheyenne, and Shane; and her great-grandchildren, Camden, Hudson, Maddie, Lily, Jayme, Ellie, Maggie, and May. She is also survived by her brother, Blair, and his family.

Barbara had a wonderful appreciation for life and especially enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. A true foodie, she loved good food and enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with those around her. She could often be found relaxing with a cup of hot tea, reading, learning about history, or watching her favorite television shows and movies. She also had a fondness for birds and enjoyed playing games and cards.

Above all, Barbara treasured time spent with her family. Her 91 years were filled with many experiences, memories, and moments shared with the people she loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
