I was working with Bruce during the 50's 60's and 70's at Koppers and Environmental Elements Corp. My recollections of Bruce were that he was a very friendly and personal person.
My condolences go out to his family with sincere sorrow.

I was saddened by Bruce's death. I too worked with Bruce for many years at EEC where he was an excellent, well liked, humorous person. But the next memory that came to mind was a Bruce quip. I was bemoaning the lack of maturity in my 13 year old son and Bruce, always looking for an opening, said that he has three twenty-something sons and "the only thing you can count on was that every year the fingerprints on the wall would be higher up!" That gave me some excellent perspective that I have used and told many parents about over the years.
Nancy, you and your family are in our thoughts.

Dear Family,

I’m so sorry to hear of Uncle Bruce’s passing. Please know that my thoughts and love are with you. I will particularly miss his droll humor. One of the ways I knew he loved me was through his teasing and humor. I’ll never forget the time mom and I stopped in to visit on our way to pick up food from G&M. He gave me such a hard time about G&M and why I wasn’t getting my crab cakes from Snyder’s. He made me laugh so hard. I will miss him very much!

Love and hugs to you all,
