Christine was born on July 25, 1937 in Atlanta, GA to the late Estelle Vaughn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin O. Porter; son, Ronald R. Porter; brother, Lester “Buddy” Allen.
Country Gospel held a special place in Christine’s heart, along with camping, Bingo, and trips to Dollywood and Cherokee.
She is survived by her sons, Ken Porter and wife, Mary of Cibolo, TX; Michael Fields of Dallas, TX, Ricky L. Fields of Kannapolis, NC; Randy Fields of Fayetteville, NC; adopted sons, Ronald R. Porter, Jr., David L. Porter; 9 grandchildren.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held privately at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. Arrangements in Maryland were handled by the Gary L. Kaufmnan Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., Elkridge, MD.
