Brother of Vanita Christian. Grandfather of Paul, Josh and Tiffany Carmichael; Great-grandfather of Jordynne Coleman, Leah and Rea'l Carmichael and the future great-grandson Tucker Coy Temples. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
