I just recently heard of Dan's passing and wanted to pass along my sincere condolences to all of Dan's family.  I worked with Dan back in the 1970s at C&P Telephone and always remembered him as one of the true gentleman I had the privilege to know in my years at C&P.  He was always willing to help a not so experienced technician and taught me a lot in those days.  All of the Dumler family are in my thoughts and prayers.  The world lost one of the very good people in Dan.

To the Dumler Family, 
You all have my deepest and sincerest sympathies. I enjoyed my mornings with your Dad and we got along quite well. I have acorns that I took from the porch awhile ago and I will plant a tree for him in my backyard. He has left a hole in my days and in my heart. 
May his memory help you through this hard time.
