Deborah L. DeHaven died March 12 at her home in Dagsboro, DE. She and her husband moved from Ferndale to Dagsboro in 2001. Deborah wrote the weekly Dagsboro column for the WAVE Newspaper (Bethany Beach) since 2006. Deborah will be remembered for her helpful nature and concern for others. She was a member of the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department, and enjoyed helping with fund raising activities. She is survived by her husband, two sisters, three children, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Memorial Service was held for family and friends on Saturday, March 16 at the Melson Funeral Home in Frankford, DE. The graveside ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the Meadowridge Memorial Cemetery in Elkridge.
