Della Cecelia Elkins Hupp Kincaid formally of Cumberland, MD died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice, Towson, MD. Born on October 12, 1933 in Ridgeley, WVA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse R. and Della C. Elkins; beloved wife of the late James R. Hupp, Sr. and Harry L. Kincaid of Fairmount, WVA.; devoted mother of Linda Grimes of Elkridge, MD, James R. Hupp, Jr. of Cumberland, MD, Pamela Steinmann of Pasadena, MD and Dennis Hupp of Rock Hill,SC; dear sister of Dorothy Poling Elfiz of Sandusky, Ohio, Evalee Stangle of Ridgeley, WVA, Eileen Sisk of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Iona, Eugene, Jesse and Glenn Elkins; also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Ms. Hupp-Kincaid retired from Allegany County Health Department. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion in Ridgeley, WVA and the VFW POST 8097 in Jessup, MD.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, North Center Street, Cumberland, MD on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00am. Inurnment in MSVC-Rocky Gap.
