Donald Elmer Wetherbee

Donald E. Wetherbee of Little Orleans, MD. Formerly of Baltimore MD. Has passed away on August 28, 2014 at his home to see his Lord and Savior.

Born March 30, 1935, He was the son of the late Wayne & Sarah Wetherbee of Britton Run, PA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce L. “McCrea” Wetherbee and his daughter Kathy L. Reihl of Pasadena MD.

Daddy/Donald loved his “Country” Living. His hobbies were to work in his garden, watch everything bloom in his yard; he enjoyed watching his many birds, squirrels, and occasional bears from his living room. Daddy also enjoyed making people laugh and making new friends along his many journeys.

Daddy/Donald is retired from Kane Transfer. Where he was a truck driver, he also worked on the B&O Railroad in Baltimore, behind the old sun paper. After his “retirement” daddy found many jobs to keep him busy.

He is survived by his dear friend/partner Maxine V. O’Bryan and their 1 pup

(Getter) Gunner. Preceded in death by their 2 beloved pups Smokey (Smoker Joes) and Toby (Good Boy). Also surviving are his two sons, two daughters and a step daughter. Ed Wetherbee and his wife Coleen of Westminster MD, Kimmy Ireland and her husband Terry of Little Orleans MD, Ron Wetherbee of Baltimore MD, Sandi (Stinky) Price and her husband Buddy of Glen Burnie, MD and, Lisa McKinney of Fuquay-Varina NC.

Daddy/Pop/Grandpa also has a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren with a soon-to-be additional great grandchild in October. He has also acquired many, many friends over the years.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075

(exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September, 2, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask to have donations sent to:
