On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Dorothy "Dot" Wheatley Plitt of Ellicott City, MD, formerly of South Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully with her family around her. Beloved wife of Calvin E. Plitt, Sr., loving mother Calvin E. Plitt, Jr. and his wife Janet. Sister of Charles "Buck" H. Wheatley, III and his wife Charlotte and the late Elaine Jacobs, Lois Schultz and Mollie Roemer. Devoted grandmother of Claire and her husband Adam, David and his wife Jody and Laura and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Christopher, Sarah, Matthew, Samuel, Owen, Joshua, Rosemary and Timothy and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Fairhaven Chapel, 7200 3rd Avenue, Sykesville, MD 21784 for a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Her Interment will be held at a later date privately at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. Arrangements were handled by the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name Samaritan's Purse, project "Operation Christmas Child".
