Edward Burton Allen Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward “Ed” Burton Allen, Sr. who passed away on June 27, 2020. Ed was born on July 31, 1938 to Archie B. and Frances M. Allen. He was the beloved husband of Mary Elaine Allen (nee Durr) and the devoted father of Constance “Connie” VanDorpe (Bruce), Phillip Jerome Allen (Anne), Edward Burton Allen, Jr. (Lauren) and James Andrew Allen (Shannon). Ed is also survived by 15 grandchildren and his siblings, Miriam Heil, John, Robert, and Paul Allen.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. All guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing per current public health guidelines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, 7850 Parkside Blvd., Hanover, Maryland 21076 on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:30am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.

Mr.Allen,
You were a Fantastic Landlord and I loved Talking to you when you were out cutting grass on the Rental Property in Jessup,i have been there now for over 25 years and still love it today, I miss seeing you and Mrs.Allen , please Rest In Peace and know you will always be in my Memories.
