Elmer L. "Pete" Bentley, age 69, of Saint Leonard, Maryland passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Pete is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Bentley, daughters Rachel Bentley (Derek Gee) and Rebecca Hurley, Rebecca's two children, Evan and Elise Hurley, his sister Sharon Bentley Triplett, and nieces Cori Triplett and Lee McFall and nephew Brian Bentley.
Pete was a hard working man who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach, dining out, cooking, listening to music, and was always eager to learn. Most importantly, he loved his family and put them above all else. He treasured time spent with his kids and grandkids.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
