Helen G. Zadarogny passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 92. She was born on February 4, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late John L. and Ethel M. Garrett (née Cumor).
Helen was the beloved mother of Greta L. Jones and her husband, Donald; cherished grandmother of Heather Huss and her husband, Zachary, and Kevin Lockner; and loving great-grandmother of Madison Allen, Liam Allen, and Benjamin Huss. She is also survived by her brother David Garrett and his wife, Ruth. She was preceded in death by her sisters Marilyn Cromwell and her husband Roland, and Sandra Garrett and by her brother John K. Garrett.
Helen retired to Dunnellon, Florida, where she enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. She was a devoted fan of Bingo, playing five to six days a week, and found great joy in spending time at the beach, especially Virginia Beach and Miami Beach. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved watching Seinfeld and the Game Show Network.
She will be remembered for her warmth, wit, and the joy she brought to her family and friends.
