On Tuesday, January 19, 2016 Henry "Norman" Matthias of Jessup, MD. Beloved husband of Alice A. Matthias, step-father of Debra A. Markovski and her longtime companion Steve Engelhard and John J. Markovski, III. Brother of Muriel Harris and the late Dorothy Bratcher. Step-Grandfather of Wendy L. Risk and Stephanie L. Jones. Step-Great grandfather of Darian, Kori, Tristan and Rayvon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Matthias was a Life-Time member of the VFW Post 8097, Jessup, MD, American Legion Post 60, Laurel, MD and of the DAV and TREA.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100 South ) on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:00 am.
