Herman Prehn

On Friday, January 27, 2012 Herman Frederick Prehn, beloved husband of the late Margaret Mary Prehn (nee Heil) passed away. Loving father of William C. Prehn and wife Verna, Charles J. Prehn and wife, M. Theresa, Theresa M. Cole and husband Bryan, the late Edward K. Prehn, James R. Prehn and wife Amie, beloved grandfather of; Derrick, Christine, Valerie, Spencer, Patricia, Gregory, David, Christopher, Thomas, Matthew, Nathan, his great-grandchildren; Dustin, Megan,

Emalee, and Serina. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Lou Joyce McDonough, and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home, Inc.,7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, 10 a.m., St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD. Interment will be held in Meadowridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to a local food pantry that was founded by Herman, Elkridge Love Mission, 5660 Furnace Avenue, Elkridge, Maryland 21075.
