JT, you will always have a special place in my heart. You were always the one that was there, for a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. I couldn't thank you enough for all the life lessons you taught me that I will carry with me throughout my life. Thanks for always be there and being the one I can always count on. Your smile could light up a room & your laugh was contagious.  I will be forever thankful for the 7am laughs we had before Gran got up. I will miss that the most, there won't be a day that goes by I don't think about you. I love you, always.  Can't wait to bust a slob when I see you again

Jack will be always be more than a man that married my mother. You always be father to me that let me earn your trust and always was there when I needed you. Uncle Jack, I will surely miss you and the laughter you brought to every family gathering.  You always made me feel special and I so looked forward to seeing you. My dear sweet Uncle Jack. Oh how I will miss looking into those beautiful eyes just like your Mother's (my Grammie) they were so full of fun and many times mischief:) Your amazing "ho ho ho merry christmas" and come "bust a slobby on me". You always told it like it was, no airs or pretense just sweet, silly wonderful you. Thank you for the laughter and love. You are forever in my heart until we meet again. Sincerest thanks to Aunt Lee and family for the kindness and love you gave to him. He was truly a blessed man.

Jack had been both my neighbor and friend for 30 some years. He always made me laugh, and even a few times cry. When I would call the house, and ask to speak to Lee, he would tell her "It's the women that lives next door", instead of just telling her my name. It was truly an honor being his neighbor. and I will never forget him.

JT was the very best grandfather I could have ever asked for or imagined. There was a never a dull moment when he was in the room, and he would do anything to get a laugh out of me and everyone else. His special, wonderful laugh and smile are things I will always carry with me. One of my favorite memories are the fractured nursery rhymes he would tell me as a little girl, knowing that he would make me frustrated just so that I would correct him and make him tell the story the right way. He knew me so well, even back then. I am incredibly thankful that he was able to be at my wedding but will undoubtedly miss and think of him at the rest of the big important moments in my life. But probably most of all, I will miss simply sitting with him at the kitchen table - him always in his same chair next to the steps - sharing mints, watching tv, and just laughing with me. All of us grandchildren were so lucky to have him and won't ever forget all of the amazing memories we shared with him - memories we will pass down to our own children one day. My heart is breaking at the loss of my big brother. Nothing made him happier than to get over on one of us, but we all have the memories of his smile when he knew he'd pulled it off again to remember him by. I don't know who laughed harder when he accomplished his mission, Jack or the recipient.  But the fun and the laughter of those memories will be with us forever. And the fact that he brought our families together is a gift for which we will always be thankful.  Lee and her family gave him the family Edward and I could not and we know how happy he was with all of them. We'll be together again Dear Jack, but until then, please know how much you were loved and will be missed.

Where do I begin?  Jack was so much more than a brother-in-law, he was my brother, my friend and one of the most important people in my life.  He loved my sister more than anyone can imagine.  He couldn't stand it when she was out of his sight or out doing whatever.  There were times when he was so bad and convinced me that he was supposed to be and try to get things over on Lee.  He got such a charge out of pulling one over on her.  There was  a look that he gave me that pretty much told me he wanted something that he was not supposed to have, according to Lee.  And of course I was right there helping him out. When he wanted another glass of wine or another Bud, he would  look from me to the glass and nod his head several times.  It was then my job to sneak it to him somehow without Lee knowing.  When I accomplished it he would give me that silly grin of his that I will never forget.  There were so many times that we laughed and carried on like it was our private little joke.  Jack was never very serious and I cannot ever remember him getting angry or not having a smile on his face.  I loved how much he loved my sister, his kids and his grandkids as well as my entire family.  I will miss him so much, forever.  Our family will not be the same without him and I know that my sister will be lost for a long time without him.  To say that he was such an important part of us is truly an understatement.  WE LOVE YOU JACK AND ALWAYS WILL.

To Lee and her family, You Are The Greatest! We are so thankful you became Jack's family. Knowing he had you as loving family and friends has been very comforting to Betsi and I, we will be forever grateful.

Jack was a very sweet man. It was my pleasure to have known him.

I always loved Jack's sense of humor and it was an honor to know him. We had many laughs together and I will miss him. My condolences to Lee and the family.

On December 18th our family lost a significant much loved member.  Jack shall be missed by us all. He brought a humorous dignity to the table that kept us smiling and lifted our spirits no matter the circumstance.  He was a good friend and a kind, loved and respected brother-in-law for whom I can only express my deepest saddness at his passing.  Ozana and I regret not being able to be there to lend our personal support to the family, but wish to extend our love and condolence.  Despite the distance between us we are there with you all.  Rest in peace Jack.
