James Allen Johnson, Sr.

On August 15, 2015, James Allen Johnson, Sr. passed away comfortably at the home of his devoted daughter, Lisa Voyce, and partner, Tony Davidson. He proudly served as a Boatswain in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1966 and his community as a door-to-door milkman thereafter. Beloved husband of the late Catherine E. (Keith) Johnson. Father of James A. Johnson, Jr.; Cherished Poppy of Erica M. Bertulis and her husband Paul Bertulis. Proud Great-Grand-Poppy of Juno Rae Bertulis. Grandfather of Kirstie Johnson. Loving brother of Robert Johnson and the late Ronal L. Johnson and the late Alice A. Williams. Long term friend and neighbor of George Smith. Great Daddy to Radar and many other pets. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Committal Service and Interment will be held at the Maryland Veteran Cemetery Chapel, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032 on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:30 am.
