Always think of how Jimmy enjoyed his motorcycle and his car.  Hard working man that loved his family and friends.  Miss you.

Jimmy was one of my favorite coworkers. I didn't see him as often as I would have liked because we worked in different parts of the building but when I saw his sweet smile it made my day. He was a man of few words but the words he spoke, meant a lot. My heartfelt condolences go out to Maria, Kenny and David but you will meet again one day.  Thank you for your years at Cummins-Wagner Jimmy.....you were a blessing to us all  and we are better people for having known you.

Jim was a local from Harwood. Everywhere he went he took that big smile with him. He loved his cars. Sorry to see you go Jim you were one of a kind.

Uncle Jimmy was one of my biggest male role models next to my dad and uncle Bean. He taught us that family is the most important thing. But he didn't just teach us, he showed us at every possible moment in life. He was always there for family, friends and even strangers. He was kind, caring and compassionate. He took care of everyone and was the cornerstone of the king family the superglue that held us together. Never was there a family get together where he sat down and ate before he had gone around and made sure everyone else had a plate first. The most selfless man ever. Family man doesn't even begin to cover what Jimmy King was, and I know that all who were close to him have a huge hole in their hearts. I know I will never forget everything about him. Him helping me out whether it was lending me his personal truck when mine was broke, helping my dad and I build my mustang, or answering the phone late at night when there was an emergency. He was ALWAYS there when you called. JimBob, life will not be the safe without you here and I can only hope to be half the man you were and see you again one day. For now have fun with Bonbon and Patrick, I know they are by your side. Love you Uncle Jimmy

I cant find the words to express how heart broken and sad we feel  that Jimmy will no longer be with us.   He was a great friend to our family and we will miss him deeply.

I met Jimmy at Klamps through my late husband David . I remember him as being lay back , but still had a good sense of humor . He was both funny and kind . Though it has been years since I have seen him , I will always remember him that way back when we were all young .

Mr. Jimmy was our neighbor for 12 years.  We loved his selfless heart, his laugh and the way he loved our girls.  The world has lost and incredible human in Mr. Jimmy.  We love you and we will see you in the other side.  Rest In Peace, my friend❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mr. Jimmy King is one of the most hard-working, kindest, selfless souls I’ve ever met. I have so much respect for the way he lived his life, how he took care of his family, and that he will continue to watch over Mrs. Maria, his boys, Kenny and David, Carter, Sarah, and the rest of his family. He was a man of few words, but when he talked, I listened intently, and it was always positive. Jim Bob is consummate good energy. He’s, of course, who KK gets his beacon of epic positivity from! Like Kenny, Mr. Jimmy truly understood and appreciated the unique, nuanced, mentally and physically challenging pastime that is baseball…the greatest game. This made Mr. Jimmy a favorite in my book long ago. I loved hearing him and in turn, KK talk about the game. By example, Mr. Jimmy taught us to always run through the first base bag, treat people the right way, and that family comes first. Mr. Jimmy, thank you for coming to all of our games, for always having our backs, and for supporting your family and friends and all of our endeavors with your positivity. Carter Man will never ever forget his Pop Pop. All he has to do is look at his Dad and his Uncle David and all that they accomplish in life and boom, there’s Pop Pop. He loved you guys so much. And you loved him right back. We will remember him every day and maybe even mix in the telling of some great stories about his life. Energy never dies. And Mr. Jimmy is the best energy there is. Love ya KK, Mrs. Maria, David, Sarah, C Man, and the rest of the King family. Mr. Jimmy, until we meet again, sir, much love and may you be in Peace without pain forever…

Bummed out about news of Jimmy passing,He was one of the old Elkridge boys ,we will always remember him!

I am blessed to have know Uncle Jimmy and to call him family. I will always treasure the time we spent together as a family be it 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other time everyone got together. He was a wonderful man and I will always look up to him. 

The King Family I am sad to hear of the passing of Jimmy. My condolence and prayers are with you. I went to school and grow up with Jimmy.  I  can remember alot of funny stuff he did when we were grown up in school. But as I  grow up I moved away to Pennsylvania but I  would run into here every now in than. And my Brother would keep me updated on all the changes that was going on. So my prayers and thoughts are with you all so sad but remember the good times and  fun things you did together because you will always have them. God Bless and Take Care of Each other. To the King Family:  We've known Jimmy for over 15 years.  He was always willing to help you.  He was a hard working man.  He loved his family & his cars.  Every Thanksgiving he would put together a huge dinner at the fire station for family, friends & strangers. All you had to do was show up.  I will miss the updates on his car build.  Rest in peace my friend.

I am so grateful that I got to spend some time with Uncle Jimmy at his house when we were celebrating our Family Christmas Gathering a few short weeks ago. Uncle Jimmy and I were playing with all sorts of toys with Carter and Kylan. He was teaching the boys how to use certain toys, and I loved watching him interact with them. It was a great moment. Love you Uncle Jimmy and you will be forever missed!!!! 

Sorry to hear about Jimmy's passing. Old Harwood Park friend,
have a lot of great memories playing softball with him and all the other Elkridge guys. He was a  good friend to all.
