Janet Lee Novotny (nee Schless ), age 66, of Tampa, Florida and most recently Talbot County, Maryland where she resided the past eight months. Janet was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 29, 1960 to parents, Bernard I. Schless and Elizabeth A. Schless.
Janet recently retired from Publix Supermarkets and had a long career in the medical field. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and actively participated in her Church.
Janet is survived by her loving daughter Megan (David) Yarnell and brothers Michael (Terri) Schless and Martin (Donna) Schless; Grandchildren Austin May and Logan May. Janet is preceded in death by her father and mother.
A viewing for Family will be held Friday August 21, 2026, at 3pm.
Janet’s ashes will be laid to rest on Monday, August 24, 2026, 11am, at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD.
