Jean Jones, age 79, of Columbia, Maryland passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. Jean was born September 1, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama; Beloved wife of the late Joe Edward Jones; Loving mother of Stefan Jones and wife Sharon, Tina Lane and husband Larry, and the late Barbara Jean Jones; Cherished grandmother of Eric Payne, Paris Payne, Stefan Jones, Dominique Rowe, Dawne Rowe, Jania Lane, and Larry Lane; and great-grandmother of Julian Payne; Dear sister of Alfred Ward and wife Gwen, Dorothy Ward, and the late Doris People.

Jean loved her faith, she was baptized on May 23, 1970 as a Jehovah Witness; She also enjoyed cooking especially BBQ, She loved to listen to jazz music, her favorites were Stephanie Mills, Ramsay Lewis, and Motown; Loved spending time with her family; She enjoyed watching TV, CNN, Price is Right, and the Young and Restless; and Jean enjoyed shopping at Home Goods and Lord and Taylor,

A Visitation for Jean will be held at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial Meadowridge Memorial Park.
