On October 11, 2018 Jean K. Roemer (68) of West Union, WV passed away peacefully. Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Herman and Katherine(nee Wheatley) Roemer and the dearly loved sister of Carole R. Hickey and Mollie W. Roemer; cherished mother of Jean (nee Puller) Cubello; devoted partner of Steve Poffenbarger. Jean is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Jean graduated from Howard High School, Ellicott City MD in 1968 and had positions in retail and healthcare. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Jean had gorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair and a loving heart. Going to family gatherings brought her great joy and she cherished her faithful dog Mindy that she rescued from an animal shelter. Jean will be dearly missed.

Graveside service to be held at Meadowridge Memorial Park at 12:00pm.
