Jo Anne Marie Hudson,77, of Finksburg, Maryland passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026. She was born on January 21, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to Anne Marie Gossage Bloom and James Milton Bloom. Shortly after graduating High School, in 1971 she married Stephen Hudson and moved to Glen Burnie to start a family. Jo Anne worked as a secretary at Westinghouse for several years before becoming a homemaker, which was her greatest job of all. She cherished her role as a mother and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was the heart of her home, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her warmth and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.
Jo Anne was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Hudson and her brother Jamie Bloom. She is survived by her son and best friend, Brian Hudson of Bethesda, MD.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12pm on February 21, 2026 at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
