My prayers are with Shirley and Daughters Kimberly, Shirley and friends.
I've known John since early 50's and enjoyed the times we shared.
He has been a great man for his family and a hard competitor on the race track. As with many others, I will miss him also.

I love you so much. You would always say I see you to me and I would laugh. You were the best great grandfather to me. I will always miss you but now you are in a better place until I see you again. Love Kendra

Known John since 1958 or 1959. Wally Shifflett and I would see John working on the 88 when we were serving the Baltimore News-Post on Mangold Street. Always seemed real laid back and smiled most of the time. He drove for Walt and Butch Senkewic at times. He also won the Dorsey Speedway Hobby Championship in 1963 driving for Merle Dilworth. Talked to John just a few short weeks ago at the Maryland Stockcar Hall of Fame Reunion. Elvis was always in the house when John was around.

You were my neighbor for many years, you always made me laugh. I love you and your family. You were the nicest and kindest man I had ever met. Rest In Peace John. Your friend, Diane Bradford.
