On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Joseph Benedict Cardamone, passed away peacefully with is family by his side. Joe was born August 7, 1935 in Bradford, PA and the son of the late Benny and Anna Cardamone. He is survived by his wife Rose R. Cardamone of 58 years, brother of Jack L. Cardamone of Lock Haven, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA. While at William & Mary, he participated in many sports, his favorite being football. He also earned a Master of Science Degree from Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD.
Joe moved to Maryland in 1961 to begin a teaching career in the Anne Arundel county public school system. He worked as a teacher, a resource teacher and a school administrator. Retiring in 1991 as a High School Principal. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Glen Burnie, MD.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore & Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 at 10:30 am. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church prior to the services for a “Time of Friendship”. An Inurnment will be held at a later date privately.
