We sadly share the passing of Joseph T. Healey on October 29, 2024. Born August 17,1932 in Scranton, PA, where he graduated from Tech High School. He proudly served in United States Air Force for 20 years, and traveled the world accompanying presidents and other dignitaries on Air Force Two. Following his retirement, he had a second career with the Prince George's County Government as Director of Environmental Resources.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, three daughters, two step sons, two step daughters and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at which time a Catholic Prayer Service will begin. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be scheduled for a later date.
