Joe Marciano of Elkridge, Maryland, passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 74.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Joe built a successful career in commercial real estate, which took him to cities all across the United States. He had a captivating personality and a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome. A generous friend, Joe gave freely of himself and was loved by many. Family and friend gatherings were his favorite occasions.
Music was one of Joe's great joys. Jazz was his favorite, but he loved every genre.
Above all, Joe was devoted to his family. Kathy, his wife of 51 years, was the love of his life. He adored his grandchildren and was endlessly proud of each of them.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Celestine, and his brother, Rob. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his daughter Amy and son Paul; his son-in-law David; his grandchildren, Alyson, DJ and James; and his sister, Marie Gullard. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins, and by countless friends.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Gary K. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Elkridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine School.
