It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph on April 6, 2024. Joseph was a kindhearted, hardworking individual who cherished his family and friends. He brought joy to those around him with his fun-loving nature, love for dancing, lip-syncing, and singing karaoke, with his favorite song being "If We Hold on Together."
Joseph's life began with a challenging start, as he was adopted by our mother, Teresita, as a very sick baby. Through the love and care of his family, he overcame his early struggles and lived a fulfilling life until he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. Despite being an LVAD recipient for 12 years, Joseph faced numerous complications from his illness. We take solace in knowing that he is now free from his suffering and has joined our eldest sister, Judy Grace, and other departed family members in heaven.
Joseph leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Teresita, father, Ronald, siblings, Edison and wife Mercy, Jenalyn and husband Jessie, Jocelyn, Alex Russell and wife Marlyn, Arlene and husband Marlon and their respective families.
As per Joseph's wishes, he will be cremated at the Funeral Home, and a potluck dinner celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 5:00 pm. In honoring Joseph's request for a happy gathering at our house, we kindly ask that you reach out to Arlene for the address.
Following his wishes, Joseph's ashes will be taken to the Philippines by our mother, Teresita, and laid to rest alongside our beloved sister, Judy Grace. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, time, and prayers during this difficult time.
Thank you for your support.
With love and gratitude,
Joseph Stoddard's family
