June Cecelia Zollickoffer

June Cecelia Zollickoffer, beloved mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Linthicum.

June was a devoted mother to Marlene Schmuff (Bill) and Darlene McCormick (Brian), and a loving sister to Marty Roberts-Allen, Mary Lou Hodges, Ruth Malstead, Harry Linthicum, and the late Laverne Nottingham, Lorraine “Boots” Keogh, and Gloria Golden.

She was the proud grandmother of Lauren, Daniel, Andrew, Meagan, and the late Matt; great-grandmother to Morgan, Hunter, Lance, Laila, Logan, Ayva, and Lexi; and great-great-grandmother to Nora and Ella. Her legacy lives on in the many generations of family she helped shape with love, laughter, and kindness.

June had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of joy. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and never missed a chance to cheer them on. She loved reading romance novels, indulging in her favorite desserts, and above all, dancing with her sisters at Bull and Oyster Roasts—where laughter and music filled the air. She had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley, whose music brought her joy and comfort throughout the years.

June's warmth, wit, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment immediately following at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
