Jung Han Lee

Following a long productive life, Jung Han Lee departed our World on June 22, 2024. Born on April 20, 1942 in Incheon, South Korea, she received her primary and collegiate education in Seoul, Korea, and married Bong Yang Lee in 1968. They went on to raise three children and emigrated to the United States in 1975. First residing in Falls Church, Virginia, the family eventually settled five years later in Ellicott City, Maryland. Bong and Jung thrived as entrepreneurs, having operated several small businesses throughout the decades. After Bong Lee passed away in April of 2013, Jung Lee continued to live in their Ellicott City home until her passing from natural causes while tending to her beloved home garden. Jung Lee is survived by her sons, Jung (John) Lee and Young Lee, daughter Ju Hyun (Anna) Lee, and her grandchildren, Sophia Lee, Lucy Choe, and Dane Linus Choe. Our loss is Heaven’s gain as she is now reunited with her dearly departed ones and can rejoice with our Heavenly Father in her eternal home.

A funeral service for Jung will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd,, Elkridge, MD 21075 on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
