On September 9, 2011, KEN PHILLIPS, loving husband of 60 years to Betty Lou Phillips (nee Metcalf);devoted father of Neil, Wayne, Gary and Teri; dear brother of Rudy; cherished grandfather of Dawn, Stacey, Billy, Stephanie, Becky and the late Jeremy; great grandfather of Emily, Cody, Austin and Trace. Also Survived by many loving family and friends.Ken was a member of the American Legion and an avid golfer and pool player. He began working at Oliver Printing press at age 19. In 1974 he purchased and ran the business.

Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 S off Rt. 100) on Tuesday, September 13 ,2011 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM, where funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14,2011 at 11:00AM. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
