Linda Jean Abey, age 75, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Linda is survived by her Loving Daughters, Kelly Foster and Lisa Wieler; Dear Sister Denise Cruz (Gary Swenson); Cherished Grandchildren Morgan Wieler, Macy Wieler, Madison Wieler, Jalen Thompson, Jaeda Thompson, and Jace Thompson; Dear Nephew Dustin Cruz (Orianna) and Great-Niece Cora Cruz.
Linda touched the hearts of many and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Linda dedicated 35 years to the Ruth Parker Eason School in Millersville, Maryland as the principal’s secretary. She loved the beach and took many trips with her girlfriends, and every summer she spent time at Rehoboth Beach with her family. Linda loved to bake, especially for her coworkers and grandkids, and was an excellent cookie decorator. Linda was an avid supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, attending as many games as she possibly could.
A visitation for Linda will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
